What days do we deliver?
We deliver Monday to Friday, except for public holidays. We don’t deliver on the weekend unless it’s Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day.
What time will the flowers be delivered?
Order before 3pm for same-day delivery, unless we have sold out that day. We deliver between 1pm and 5pm, unfortunately due to the delivery route changing each day we can not guarantee an exact delivery time. We do prioritise delivering to schools before 3pm and work places before 5pm.
What happens if no one is home to receive the flowers?
We will always try and leave the flowers in a discreet and shady spot. The bunch will also have its own water source to keep the flowers nice and hydrated. If you have any special delivery instructions you can let us know on the order page.
Can I pre-order?
Of course you can, if you love our garden style and trust our florists choice then preordering is encouraged as it helps us to ensure we have enough flowers each day as we base our numbers on preorders. Sometimes we sell out very early so preordering is the best way to ensure you’re not disappointed. Preorder here
What are flower subscriptions?

How do I best take care of the flowers?
It’s important to put your flowers in fresh tap water as soon as possible. Removing any lower greenery so that no leaves will sit in the water. Trim the stems every two days and change the water as well, making sure the vase is clean each time. Display your flowers in a cool spot, away from direct sunlight, heat sources and fruit bowls. Some flowers will fade faster than others, removing these will help keep your remaining flowers stay healthy and alive.

Delivery Policy when the recipient is not at home to accept your gift
If the recipient is not home to receive your gift, we will determine if it’s safe for them to be left at the front door or close by. If there are restrictions in doing so, (nowhere to safely leave them, an electric gate, an animal in the yard) we will contact the customer first to determine a safe delivery. If we can’t get a hold of you in a timely manner the order will return with us. We will contact you for re-delivery the following business day.
Re-deliveries will incur an extra delivery charge ($10 unless in the paid delivery zone, $15). We will do our best, but if a product needs to be remade with new flowers for re-delivery, the product will need to be paid in full again before delivery can occur.
Covid-19 New Delivery Procedures
From Monday the 23rd The Local Bunch has changed delivery procedures to take the necessary precautions to keep customers and the delivery team safe during this time. To limit hand to hand contact during our residential deliveries flowers will now be left by the front door/ a safe place in water. We will knock/ring the doorbell, if someone is home we will stand several meters from the door to let them know there are flowers by the door for them before leaving, the sender will then be notified that the delivery has been made as per usual.
While we try our best for all daily bunches to use the same flowers occasionally we may have to substitute flowers of equal or higher value but we will keep them similar to flowers originally chosen. Substitutes happen due to factors out of our control but we always deliver bunches that reflect quality and our signature garden style.
